Two quick questions re: posting to USA and local pick ups

Hiya,

Quick question on posting to the US - do you have to put a customs sticker on, & is it ok to send cans of hair mousse?

Quick question on pick ups - potential buyer who lives in same town has asked if they can pick up if they win. Its not high value things, just kids toys. Is it best to insist on paypal payment first, or accept cash on collection? I've read so many horror stories on here about local pick ups, I want to make sure I dont get stung!!

Thank you all!

    Yes to customs label.

No to cans of mousse (aerosols?), this is UK and outside of UK.
It is against the law to send certain goods and items through the post because they are illegal or harmful. These can include things that may not seem dangerous or hazardous such as perfumes, aerosols or knives.

Personally for pickup I would only take cash. You may want to offer PP deposit of £1 or the like, with rest of payment upon collection and refund of PP.

Also some countries are different. Germany is a problem for a few cosmetics and especially perfume.
