Getting a refund ~ Advice Please

Hello everyone, I'm a newbie so first I'd like to say hi:)
I am desperate for some advice. I purchased a cardigan from Boohoo.com at the beginning of February which I returned on the 10th February for a refund (less the postage). I was expecting a refund of £10.00p being paid into my bank account shortly after this.
However, upto this moment I still haven't received my refund & I really don't know what to do next.
Here is what I've done so far:
I contacted Boohoo.com customer service via email on the 25th of March notifying them that my refund had not been issued. They replied stating that the refund had been issued on the 25th February & that it should show in my bank account 3-5 days later...bearing in mind the date that this email was sent was 25th March. They also stated that if the refund didn't show after this time I should take the issue up with my bank! I doubled checked my bank statement but there was no refund.
I contacted Boohoo.com once againon 5th April via email (I've tried telephoning customer service to no avail) & I received the following reply on the 6th April:
Hi, Thank you for your email.
My Sincere apologies and thank you for your patience in this matter.Your account has been refunded. I have processed this for you today
This will show in 3– 5 working days after this date in your account.
If the payment doesn’t show after this time, please contact your card issuing bank.
Kind regards.
Sue.

By this email I was baffled & very angry. I was told previously that the refund had been issued on the 25th February & the email I received on the 6th April clearly stated the refund hadn't been issued until that day:mad:
I'm at my wits end & I really don;t know what to do next...any advice/action will be very welcome:(

Did you recieve the refund 3-5 days after the 6th April as stated in their last email?0

Not according to the OP. May be time to threaten them with escalation e.g. small claims0
