help please -
i've just burned a cd from the laptop, but its not playing on any of our cd players. it works fine when played on the laptop though. anyone know what i've done wrong? i'm using the same cds to burn music onto that i used on my desktop, and i managed that successfully. the laptop asked for a re-writeable disc to be used, which i'm not sure mine are. would this be why the cds only play on the laptop, and not in normal cd players?
thanks for any help,

A lot of older CD players aren't compatible with CD-RW formats. For music, use CD-R instead.Ubuntu is an ancient African word, meaning: 'I can't configure Debian'.0

i'm using windows 7 wizard, following all instructions as far as i know, and letting the laptop do all the work (it opens the disc drive and tells me the disc has been burned successfully). should i change the settings to lower than 24 x, which the wizard has set for itself? would that make any difference?0 -
What have you burnt to the CD? MP3 files, WAV files, or have you actually selected an option to burn an audio cd?Ubuntu is an ancient African word, meaning: 'I can't configure Debian'.0
