iPhone screen repair Belfast?

My girlfriend used another place called smashedapples, she was very happy with them. Think they were based in ards or bangor, but came up and collected it from Belfast and brought it back up again that night, £30 or so.0

another vote for iservices in ballyclare. Have had 2 phones repaired by Andy now and both times the work has been 100%. Will use again for sure. My 3 year old will be keeping him in business for a while!!0

Myself and the girlfriend both have our iPhones insured on our bank account. £6-25 a month for the both of us, plus get a fiver for crediting for £1000 or more each month, plus charge-free overdraft, etc., etc. Is hard to beat

Guys,
Do not, I repeat, do not go to that place in Lombard Street in the city. They messed up big time with me by deleting all my names and addresses and I couldn't even add any on. I investigated how they did it - with a Professional - and he stated that it was most likely that they didn't use an anti-static wrist strap. I questioned them on this and they made excuses in their dodgy Belfast accents. Shabby, unprofessional, corner-cutting joint. Stay clear !!!!!0 -

Most of the time though, your excess is going to be about £50 which is the average price of a repair give or take so insurance only really needed if you suffer a total loss like theft or if it got run over by a bus etc.. both situations kinda unlikely..
By the way who are the people on Lombard street?0 -
I think someone has it in for the guys in Lombard street. Not wearing an anti static strap is bull. I used to work for sun micro systems (expensive high level assembly computer servers, JAVA) so I know a thing or two. Not wearing a static strip can blow ic's, but it's merely a precaution. We had to wear them due to the expense of the servers.
I thought also that iTunes synced all your addresses back on.
I think the professional you were talking to should retire.0 -
iservices have moved to belfast (duncrue industrial estate) because i went there on thursday to get my iPhone 4 screen fixed. looked as good as brand new i have to say. I'm picky about stuff like this and i checked it over and there were no marks or anything and it was fitted perfectly. also very pleased because i cant be out of sight of my phone for more than 5 minutes and i was able to wait on it being fixed in their lounge area with a cup of tea! even apple dont offer a service like that! :rotfl:
