Photographer work

I would like to become a photographer just to make a bit of extra money then move it on to become a full time job.
I have found a site that offers a start up business http://www.parazzipack.com I like the look of this I have had people come up to me in clubs and at the football doing this and giving me a card saying if you want to buy the picture go her. I think it is a great idea but I can’t find other company’s. If anybody nose any other company’s that do this could you let me no that would be great.
What do you think of this idea?
Has any one ever done anything like this or in this line of work?
Looking forward to your advice comments and ideas
Cheers nutty

there are loads of sites that do this - but the work isn't great..
I know what you did last night is one in manchester - can't remember the actual address.0 -
I'm not too sure about other companies but thought I'd jot a few ideas where I've seen similar photographers.
One thing though...have you thought of the percentage of people that actually buy? My sons go clubbing and always look on the website but they never purchase anything.
We have been to theme/aqua parks in different countries and they have a roaming photographer too. Is there any where local you could go to? it may be worth asking.
It may be a little too late for this summer but how about carnivals? We have a local photo shop that take photos during the carnival and an hour later they are up in their shop window on display ready to buy.
My daughters perform in dance shows and we are not allowed to take photos while the show is on. They do however have a photographer take photos during the dress rehearsal and at the break/after the show you can look through laptops (he had three) and purchase your photo there and then. (he prints it off)
I would be more inclined to buy there and then rather than purchase at a later date. The impulse factor
lol
Good luck in your new venture.0 -
Hi thanks for the replies
Sally I was thinking of doing more of what you have just said about the there and then thing. But would not no were to start on equipment other than the camera.
I have bought a key ring with me and my mates in it for £3.50 and then me mates all got one. (I think this would be the best for clubs ect) But I have never come home and paid for one of the internet
Some food for thought for me there and some looking for the equipment to do the key ring part.
Any more help would be great

I belive it is a forum member from https://www.ukbusinessforums.com that setup the website that you mentioned (or I could be wrong in which case there is another site very similar to it)
They are the only one I know that works on that basis but there are plenty of other sites that allow you to advertise/ sell stock photos (ie generic items rather than specifics) like https://www.istockphotos.com (a google search on stock photos will bring up hundreds of matches).
It wouldnt be overly difficult to set up the site that they have running for yourselfAll posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers
