I sent my application back yesterday afternoon and got a rejection this morning. I am gutted, I so needed the extra income.

I put everything into that test and felt I did a good job. I find it very frustrating that they do not provide any feedback.

It does say you need to be degree educated, which I am not. Would I get an automatic rejection for this?

    Thanks for your help,
    M

30p per question answered, it says somewhere that only 1 in 10 applications is successful so I'm not too hopeful.

They may have already filled all the vacancies. Don't be down heartened.
They get hundreds of applications so cannot provide feedback but if you ask nicely they may give you some.

I wasn't degree educated when I applied (I am now studying for a degree) so it doesn't always apply. Some members on here haven't got degrees but work for them.

The next big recruitment will probably be november time.

    Miguel,

If you post two or three of the questions and your answers on here then maybe a few of us can give you some feedback. Of course it will only be an opinion but something might stand out to one of us that has not stood out to you. Sometimes you get 'blindness' from reading your own stuff.

  • Hi everyone, I've just been accepted by 63336 to be a researcher (yay!). My question is that I already have a part-time job so this will be my second job. How will tax etc. work? I understand that I will need to register as self-employed for 63336 but that's as far as I understand. Is it going to be worth it for the amount of tax / NI I'll have to pay? If anyone could give me an idiot's guide it would be really appreciated.

    Thanks :)

Do you get to choose the questions you answer, or does it automatically select questions for you to answer? You might be very knowledgeable in one area, but not another...!
What shall I put here?

I am presuming the questions just get sent through..... this would be where the research comes in x
