refund

On the 11 May I purchased a dishwasher online from Dixons. The following day a lady phoned me to say that the model had reached the end of the line and I had a choice of a refund or she could help me to choose another model over the phone. I chose the refund. I then received email confirmation from them that the order had been cancelled. Later on in the day (12 May) I checked my online banking and saw that the money had been taken out of my account. My question is how long usually does it take for the funds to be refunded, also I looked under pending transactions and the refund is not there...
Thanks

The actual credit of the funds should take place overnight.
That will be overnight from the day the refund is processed, which nobody can be certain of - in theory, should be the same day so the refund appears the next day.0
