i haven't heard of them but i have been getting my teeth whitened through my dentist - the village dental practice in crossgar. its a bleaching kit with specially made moulds and bleach and it is only £199 :)

I personally wouldn't trust anyone but my dentist with my teeth!

I think this page tells you all you really need to know.

Do you want it done by someone who's only qualification is to have paid £8000 and passed their 'written exam'?

(Be interesting to see how many people's £8k they turn down because they 'fail'!!)
    How to find a dentist.
    1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
    2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
    3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
    4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.

    lol, Question 1.
    Has your cheque cleared yet?

Seriously, if you go through their procedure according to the site you will "save on Dentist chares"

Either I missed something at university 'cause I dunno what one of those is (I am a dentist)
Or they are so professional they can't be bothered to use a spell checker:rotfl:

Are you sure you need them whitened OP? I had mine professionally cleaned with a hygienist recently, and they looked amazing (I'm a smoker and huge coffee addict). Much cheaper and much safer.

If you're worried about the wedding photos, then do what I did and use Photoshop to touch them up! Big rows of pearly whites, and all straight as a die. I would have paid somewhere in the region of £2500 to have the actual work done, and this way there was no hassle.

Photoshop is a really good, safe alternative.

And, let's face it - that's what's created all the unnaturally white perfect smiles on the magazine covers that everyone wants to look like anyway!

Good advice toothsmith! What's your take on the beauty salons and this LED whitening for £99?
Supposed led lights go on your teeth and that "reacts" to whiten your teeth, LOL!

At best useless, at worst dangerous.

That's what this whole thread is about. The 'Saturday' course in tooth whitening.

    Hi All

I'm near Belfast and looking to get my teeth whitened. My local dentist in BT36 is charging about £5-600 which does seem a lot. I have a cap which means they would be different colours if I got a cheap kit. What do you advise peeeeple?:D
