Just spotted this, not sure if it's useful to anyone on here.
BT FreeYear.
You have to sign up for 'Option 2' for 18 months though which means you pay the 3.95 fee for 6 months once your free year is up... Available to existing 'Option 2' customers as well according to the FAQ.

Would seem rather silly to tie yourself into an 18 month contract, when you can use Primus 2 and get free evening and weekend calls. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0

And, instead of BT's 60 minute limit, you can natter for 90 minutes without having to redial.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0
