Hi,
PCWorld have this on offer again which is exactly what I've been looking out for.
http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/product/seo/542714
This is for NTL and Telewest BB as it does not have an ADSL modem in it. Order for collect in store to get the above price as its £5 more otherwise.
Cheers
Rob

Don't forget to go through Quidco for 3 or 5%!0

I got this a few weeks ago!
I got flamed a little at the time
It is not the best piece of kit - in fact I think it is the USB adapter that is poor - as my laptop (which I did my initial tests) appear to be very solid. (my laptops have a Intel and a cisco internal wireless card)
good price thoughCheers,

I bought a brand new 'Netgear' router for cable, on Ebay last night - for peanuts! There's loads of cheap Netgear ones on there, apparently they're branded 'Blueyonder' and NTL have dumped them as the Blueyonder ISP doesn't exist any more.
The fact that I bought it then discovered I needed an ADSL one isn't relevant
Oh, well, I'll have to list it back on Ebay when it's delivered :rotfl:I only exist in my own mind - if you can see, hear or read me, you are a product of my imagination.0 -
I think the reason this is so cheap is because it's a 54 mbs model and everyone has now moved onto 125 mbs, you may be dissapointed at it's performance when surfing the net.0

I have a belkin which I am not happy with, for some reason it often reset the connection, so I will lose connection for a few minutes at a time. A friend gave me this router who had the same problem with it.
I am thinking about getting this one to replace it:
Linksys Wireless-G Network Kit for Notebooks
on sale for £39.99

If you're lucky and have an 8mbs internet connection, the 54mbs of the wireless won't slow things down AFAIK (given a good signal).0 -

That's a good point! Easy to get caught up in the deals without assessing the best option. Thanks.I :heart2: Waitrose0 -

Not applicable as the internet connection is far less than 54mbs so surfing is not delayedqui tacet consentire -
