Recommendations for good places for selling my car for cash

Have been offered a p/ex figure for my 3 year old Grand Scenic DCi but wondering if there any recommended places where I could perhaps get higher than trade price. Not interested in Auto Trader, but more 'official' firms that buy cars for cash (although ½ do sound quite dodgy!!).

If you want more you will need to sell it privately which will mean Auto Trader and the like. You can try places like webuyanycar but I doubt they will beat your P/Ex price although first contact might suggest they will.

You are trying to get private sale price without putting in the effort, it really won't happen.

Selling privately you will get more, however I would recommend to try a few different places to sell your car:

eBay - have at least 3-4 photos on there and list all defects/faults as honest as possible


Gumtree - Completely free to use and you can upload pictures free too
