OOoooh an MSE ribbon.....brilliant idea......we should all wear one and then if we see someone else with one, we know they're MSE'rs too. I like it!

I've got a tip for you - buy a small piece of ribbon from a fabric or hobby shop (no more than 1 metre) in a colour you adore. Then tie is round you writing hand (left or right) each time you go to reach for a snack or another piece of food you'll remember us all and hopefully will say no thanks to yourself! It works for me.

Maybe this is something Martin could consider.

What a fantastic idea. I would wear one with pride, I'm sure lots of people would. If we all had the same, we'd be able to recognise each other :T

  • Hmm..it seems I CAN control myself!!!...I only got us a little custard slice each and they were from the reduced section! Very tasty still... Anyway, the tenner is now tucked safely back in my purse and I have cleaned my teeth and drunk a pint of water (not quite the same as a cheeseburger) and am now sat here feeling all smug.
one of the best posts on site. the odd treat if fine. feeling the cat who licked the cream is a lovely feeling. feel as smug as you want.

I'm sure I've got Paul McKenna's Slim Now cd somewhere....don't think I've given it away yet............and obviously I've not used it:o Otherwise I wouldn't be at my biggest.......eh just think if I'd used the bloody thing when I got it...I might never have got above 10.5/11 stone.....now I'm at my heaviest....about 13st 7Ib I think......:o Deffo need to do something now......apart from feeling crap all the time....have back probs...(actually 'went' on me when I was 2 stone lighter...so it's a wonder it's not worse!).....and having to hold my breath to put my shoes on is just embarrassing frankly!

Anyway...the point of my post is...if I can find it.....I'll post it to whoever wants it........

Great stuff......but I'm left with the nagging thought that you've not had any dinner tonight?

    Or am I wrong?

Hee hee no don't worry I DID have dinner (baked potato, cheese and beans), I was just being a greedy guts when I wanted the MacDonalds! I can pack away a LOT of food, believe me!!!

To Chrismojam: I assume it was me that you were offering the Paul McKenna cd to? I do actually have it somewhere but didn't really give it a chance - another impulse buy *Lavender ducks* but THANK YOU so much for the kind offer - you are lovely. I will dig it out and give it a fair chance.

I do really love the bracelet idea - I would wear mine with pride! I can't tell you how different I feel since finding this site. I've lurked on other forums on other sites and people just seem to b*tch and take any opportunity to put each other down. This place is like Heaven: all the good people seem to have come here!

Right, gotta go, my little boy is currently using the telephone as a toy and I don't fancy the Fire Brigade turning up at the house. Then again...:p
