  • Right - I am a fool. I've come on here to confess. In 24 hours I've spent £65 that I wasn't supposed to.

    Here comes a rough breakdown:-

£15 last night on utter cr*p to eat in front of the tele (BOGOF Diet coke, Mr Kiplings, 2 x pkts of crisps, BOGOF Mars Bar ice cream bars, 2 other ice lollies (I love ice cream), block of cheese, milk, orkney fudge, chicken dippers etc, etc. I didn't eat all this but my eyes are bigger than my tummy

£1 entry into local antiques and crafts fair. I didn't buy anything (!)

£19 approx at farmer's market this morning on ostrich sausages (I know, I know), organic apple juice, cheese & biscuits, fresh beetroot and tomatoes, HM courgette quiche, HM seville marmalade, f/r eggs etc.

£11 in Tescos on 3 chick lit books

£19 in Tescos on cat food, chicken breasts, raspberry vinegar, yoghurt, blueberries, veg to make coleslaw, reduced Atlantic salmon for freezer etc. I only went in for the chicken breasts and came out £30 poorer!

    What an idiot!!!!

Obviously my diet isn't going very well and I'm feeling the need to stuff my face. I am going to make sure I eat/freeze this food then start afresh Sunday/Monday. I'm such a fool.

Now I need to try and tweak my budget/work out how to make some more money so that I can bounce back from this. Off to have a rake for eBay stuff to sell....

I'm feeling a bit down. Why am I so stupid? I was even thinking about you guys when I was spending the money. buying food that'll make me fatter - thinking about posting how bad I'd been - how !!!!ed up is that?

I hope that you are all having better Saturdays than me...

hi there chocolate cake, I too have only just caught up with this.

Another thing I would say, is if you are losing weight and you have been fairly *big* then dont forget to get rid of any previously fitting clothes on ebay. I know theres a fairly lively market in clothes for the fuller figure on there, adn a few extra pennies always helps :D

Great idea Lynz, thank you. I'm not quite skinny enough yet to come out of my old clothes but this is certainly an idea for the future.
