Ok i will start by saying i dont know very much about cars as you can probably tell by the title question.
My runners under the driver and passenger seat are not doing their job and the seats are jumping back, the car is a 1995 106, this is the only problem it has had, so was wondering if these can be replaced, and if so what are they called as I dont want to come accross as an idiot when I go to the car part place. Also if anyone knows a rough estimate to have these replaced at the garage on both the driver and passenger side. I have been ripped off in the past, so would like to know a round about price that i might be expected to pay, and help would be appreciated

It may not be the runners that are the problem, you may need to replace the seats

for a car of that age, you're better off getting down the scrappy and asking for a pair of front seats, including subframes. it'll be a case of four bolts holding each seat in, and even the most amateur DIYer armed with a socket set (probably a Torx set actually) and breaker bar will be able to do it within an hour.GREENS M'SHIP OFFER NOW CLOSED SO PLEASE DON'T ASK ME!Olympic Debt-free Challenge £2150/£11900 = 18.0%NOW INVESTIGATING AN ALTERNATIVE TO MY IVA - I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND ONE ANY MORE!0
