Can anyone decode the Allowance System?

I am totally confuddled. My mother and father both get Attendance Allowance.
At first this was obvious on their bank statements. Suddenly it has vanished.
I rand the DWP and the adviser there told me that the payments are now part of their pensions. Is this right? Because the pension payment doesn't look any more than it did when these payments were seperate.
Older people who have worked all their lives get peanuts. It sucks.
If anyone could help me that would be great - THANK YOU!!

My dad gets attendance allowance his is included with his pension. My dad's claim was started in december so maybe dwp are changing everyone's over so that aa is included with their pension.
best wishes

it will depend on when the combing date with pension is, and whether the bank statement date covers that period. the AA are not going to be combing any more with pensions due to pension reforms as the SP is paid in arrears now and AA/DLA paid in advance, it was going to casue too much confusion when it came to removing for hosptial/care homes admissions etc.0
