couldnt resist. I have some red ones in front of garden but would love some different colours for a space allocated for some new plants

I also have Bowles Mauve, purple and rarer yellow colour brilliant wallflowers and easy to take cuttings actually you need to take cutting as they die after 3rd year. They flower almsot all year round and butterflys/bees love Bowles Mauve

Best time to take perennial wallflower cuttings is autumn. Put them around the edge of a 5.5 inch 3/4 pot and leave outside in a sheltered place. I have found it harder to root them by being kind and putting them indoors. :)

Yes thanks Dave I was hoping I get some cutting of seeds from these later

I get lots of cutting already for Bowes mauve purple and yellow

I find it best to take new growth and put cuttings in mixture of peat and sharp sand. lightly water and then pop a litre litre coke bottle with about 1/3 rd of bottom cut off leaving the plastic top on but a few holes on the curve to allow some air, then place is sheltered spot out of direct sun
