Flexible Loan?

I am looking to borrow £17k over 6 years, and am absolutely confident of my ability to pay it off over that period without worries.

However I may want to pay it off sooner, not just with a single lump sum payment, but by over-paying for a longer period.

I have seen that Yorkshire Bank don't have early payment penalties for repayments, but will this allow me to regularly over-pay?

Or is there a better way to do it?!

My credit rating is rock solid (999), home owner but do not want to secure it on the house or the (frivolous) purchase I intend to make. :D

I used to have a Cahoot Flexi loan, and this appears to be the sort of thing I am looking for.

I may just stooze / card tart some of it, but I am looking for the easiest option too....

So you intend lying when you declare the purpose of the loan? ;)

You'll have to give a good answer to account for £17k of expenditure on an unsecured basis.

While you may be confident in your ability to repay. Don't expect a lender to be so frivoulous. :D

The lender will apply criteria on your ability to repay the loan, likelihood of default, affordability, so your published score has no relevance.

your ability to repay is rock solid (so no possibility of illness, redundancy, family illness, starting a family etc) then why not have a secured loan (mortgage increase) ...absolutely no risk after all
