Not necessarily, as I say the pre pay clean doesn't get checked as it doesn't have a handback as there may be no new occupant lined up. It will only have an official handback to de if it is re allocated. So if the pre pay clean isn't upto scratch then it gets left. A dust/wipe over is ordered when it is re allocated (maybe a year later) and if on handback its not right then the cleaning company are only liable to return and correct the wipe over. That's why you find yourselves moving into MQ that you are not happy with. I work with housing officers who will tell you the same thing. Ayway, enough of that!0

We have paid companies to do a march out clean for us in the past, but we only chose those that guaranteed the clean - if DHE are unhappy with they clean then the company return to rectify it, and we don't incur any charges. The company was one recommended by DHE, but not affiliated to them in any way - just one they knew householders had used in the past that did a satisfactory clean that passed the march out standards.
All we had to do was shut the door on the way out, and the rest was done for us. We had a proxy doing the march out, so we literally just walked away. The money came out of our disturbance allowance, and having done our own march out cleans often with children in tow I have to say it was worth every penny!0
