Netgear Router and Modem...I want rid of them- what can I do??

Options
Hi guys,

From 8 months ago, up until recently, I was a customer of Virgin Media. My contract has ceased, and I'm now lumbered with a Netgear wireless router and the modem that are both shipped as standard with their broadband package. I don't need them any more, and wish to get rid of them; is there anything I can do to get some cash out of them? I understand that they have some kind of proprietary VM setting, or something like that? Any suggestions?

Thanks!

There is a post on the digital tv forum about someone who disposed of their Virgin Set Top Box.

Perhaps you should go there and read it

on the bottom of teh router does it say something like wireless G Router WGR614v9

id suggest calling VM and asking them if they want the equipment back, they may well say yes or tell you to keep it, were you on cable or adsl
