Please help !!!!! ok.... I work 24 hrs a week and earn 14,300 - hubby not working - he cant get contribution based job seekers allowance - but someone mentioned income based job seekers allowance - for him to claim this they will take my income into account - does anyone know what the max i can earn before thay say its too much to claim it ? thanks in advance :A

If you work 24 hours per week or more, any claim for JSA(IB) he makes will be turned down.
It's only if you work less than 24 hours per week that they will look at your earnings. The personal allowance for JSA(IB) is £102.75 pw, your wages are way over that, he won't qualify for anything unless your wages are under approx £112 per week.I no longer contribute to the Benefits & Tax Credits forum.0 -
