Interest Free Student Overdraft

Hey,
I'm a mature student in Leeds and was just wanting some advice about student interest free overdrafts.
I currently have a £525 overdraft with Yorkshire Bank (which I'm about £30 into atm) but i noticed just before xmas that YB seemed to hike up the interest charges.
I'm thinking about opening up another account but obviously one which doesn't charge extortionate interests fees and one which isn't dangling a carrot to tempt me into debt.
I noticed Halifax do a student account with a standard £500 overdraft (no interest) and an option to go to £3000 if possible
I don't really want one though with an option to extend it further...
I just want a standard low overdraft, interest free, and no option to extend it further.
What do you guys reccomend as the best student overdraft?
Kind Regards,
Warren

All student accounts have interest free overdrafts so depends on what else you want out of the account. Halifax has the largest possible available but most people don't get the full amount immediately.
Natwest usually offers a railcard as an incentive but not sure if they're doing so at the moment.
Why don't you want one which will not give you the option to extend? You don't have to extend it.0 -
So I am eliminating temptation...0
