Industrial injury benefit ( accident) advice please.

I think it'll be a struggle so long after the accident. You can claim but any award will only be backdated 3 months (and it will reduce any means tested benefits you get).
I got IIDB 4 years after my accident, it was very straight forward, they asked me whether the accident investigation report had been filled in and then contacted my previous employer. I was backdated for a few months, but it was also the same for DLA I did not claim that for years because I did not know and nobody told me I could claim. Go ahead and apply they can always say no, nothing is lost.0
