which portable generator to buy

dear all, can anyone help or advise me i am thinking about buying a petrol generator for my allotment so i can use lawn mower, strimmer chain saw etc I was wondering what size engine power output would be sufficient

    Err look at the rating of the tools you have. Your prober need around 3kwh

    Lawnmower, Strimmer, Chainsaw? what sort of allotment have you got? lol

    Better off buying petrol powered items, I am sure there will be health & safety issues if found using 240volt eletcric's on an allotment.

    im only going on what other members are doing , one chap was using a chainsaw pluged into petrol generator and also a strimmer,
    have looked at the rules ,does not say power tools cannot be used

    Might be worth in investing in one of the mount field petrol strimmer where you can add on the attachments.
