I'm looking for a new laptop and i seen this one on ebay. The price at the moment seems very low and I was wondering if there is maybe something strange going on here. Does anyone know if this is genuine or should i avoid it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Personally I wouldn't risk it .
they are registered in hong kong ( not neccessarily a bad thing but always worries me )
they have private feedback.
They have only got their feedback score from buying not selling , so could have bought 10 ebooks.
They are using stock photos, not the actual product.
Hope this helps your choice !

First off... it's from China. 2nd - they don't offer paypal. 3rd - if it's too good to be true, it IS.

Hi,
I have bought a few things from China with - touch wood - no problems so far, but you do need to be cautious. I wouldn't touch this one, for all the reasons already stated, and also because the seller is keeping the feedback Private. I consider this dodgy no matter where the seller is based.
Always check the feedback is 100% (or as near as dammit. If there is a negative, go and check it out. It may not be the sellers fault). Also, make sure there are at least 200 items already bought and sold...not just bought ones.
Hope that helps.
Btw...I am brand new here, all signed up today and this is my first reply...eek!

Darn, I've just given up my throwaway account otherwise I would have warned the current highest bidder as she looks like a newbie and not a scam buster.
