Thanks been there. I will try and re-calc later.

I do where suits so £10 to be added.

The Mrs only works 5 mins walk away from home, but uses the bus to go shopping etc. If you think she could get away with more i 'll try.

If its no accepted, its not accepted.

The kids are at school, but we both work weekend and we have to pay the mother in law to look after them then, after school some days and during school hols. Do you think this would be ok ?
I'm no expert, but i'll give you my opinion, my support and my experience. Its all i have.

Not sure how te OR will react to paying your MIL to look after the children. Might be worth a question to which ever debt charity you have taken advice from. Add school dinners £2 per day, per week, per child for primary and £3 for secondary.

This is my amended SOA. I have deleted some travel expenses, hair and medical from my expenses and reduced the Mrs contribution by the same amount.

Is this correct or any further comments. Please.

I'll post the Mrs in a while. MUST do some real work !!!

It appears i have slightly messed up somewhere as they should be same as everything i have excluded has been excluded from the contributions ???

also, despite allowing for an extra £100 for groceries, the combinued available debt is more that the actual available debt we have.

Where have i gone wrong !!!!

    Just a quick bump.

I read somewhere else on here today, that the partners contribution should be half the combined bills (rent, elec etc.)

Anybody have a definitive answer on how to calc this.

    Thanks

  • Falze, it will be a percentage of what she earns, so if you earn £1k and she earns £500 then it is not fair for her to pay £50%.

I promised to look at your SOA's, didn't I. Sorry it has been mad around here and I forgot. Will look tonight when the brood are in bed. Please, please bug me if I forget again.

    no worries. Appreciate the help.

As it appears i will now be going BR before i move out the figures will change slightly (mainly the debts !!), but the same princable applies and i will need this for the OR anyway.
