BT question

Took a 12 month contract with BT for my phone it was free evening and weekend calls after 6pm and all weekend. They have told me that the times have change the calls after 7pm through the week. Without calling me to inform me of the change it was only when I received my monthly phone bill did I realize that I was paying for calls.
Is this not a breach of contract? or can they just change things at will?
