Nice idea, but even a conservative voter wouldn't go that far I think.

Yet more lack of comprehension. I was not gloating just stating a fact.
I think it is a far sadder day for democracy when the government takes Taxpayers money and uses it to promote itself. You do see how this arrangement looks. The Government gives millions to Unions to "modernise" the Labour Party receives millions from the Unions to run its campaign to be re-electeds."There's no such thing as Macra. Macra do not exist."
"I could play all day in my Green Cathedral".
"The Centuries that divide me shall be undone."

How sad for the cause of women's equality, and representative democracy, if the reason Harriet Harman feels unable to stand for the Labour leadership is that it would prevent Labour slagging off Clegg and Cameron as public school toffs at the next election.
IMHO she should stand to give Labour women a voice.
The good news is that the same public school handicap would also apply to Ed Balls :rotfl:(Not that anything would stop him from his bid for power.)
And how come the Milliband brothers can both stand for the Labour leadership, but Yvette Cooper will defer to her new husband, Ed Balls? Are family connections OK but not when they undermine patriarchy
?
The OP would have been closer to the mark in highlighting the demise of women in politics - which has little to do with the private school issue.0
