Cost of buying and selling

Hello,
im currently saving up for a deposit so i can move, however just wondering how much it generally costs on top of the deposit?
can someone give me a breakdown of all the costs and general idea of what to expect? i.e solicitors fees, home report costs etc. (im not a FTB, i have a house to sell also)
im from scotland so if anyone on here has recently moved can you let me know what the figures were?
