But those who come on here to attempt to diminish, denigrate or destroy this moment are but mere traders in their own particular brand of misery.
To which the answer to them is: keep it to yourself, OK?
not a chance. and as an ex labour party activist you've got a nerve to complain about other people who aren't happy with the outcome. not everyone voted for what we've got and we've every right to be critical.
birdsong in number 10 garden....pass the sickbag.
it's not a wedding you know. it's an election result. and cleggeron will not be getting my blessing. Those who will not reason, are bigots, those who cannot, are fools, and those who dare not, are slaves. - Lord Byron0 -
Politics -- articulate rather than dumb, bright rather than dour, spontaneous rather than robotic, young rather than ancient, pragmatic rather than self-servingly inept -- took centre stage today amidst the birdsong in Number 10's garden.
maybe we should get politicians on X-Factor so that we can rate them on personality and charisma before they appear in the gardens of Number 10. these are obviously the important things about being politicians. well done on your summary of requirements for being a senior politician in this country :T0 -

This a public forum, why should we not criticise.
and while we are criticising, why can't you type in normal font like everyone else?I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Ah, ninky ninky ninky. "Pass the sick bag". Have you noticed how it's always the most bitter of losers who resort to the over-emotive whilst everyone else shuns the melodramatics of misery?0 -
I was once -- once -- a Labour activist, and euphoric at the 1997 GE outcome. Millions of others who were not activists nevertheless had a grin on their face when the Blairs went into Number 10.
Whereas, I was never a Labour activist, and I was less than euphoric at the 1997 GE outcome... I can smell BS a hundred yards away.
I'm smelling BS.
