If the ink carts are chipped as they are in my Lexmark then probably no.
I tried with a drill and fill option and kept getting the same empty cartridge error, even tried options sugested around the web, like switch it off, count 50 switch it on, swing the cat, pay homage to the great god of printer ink, but none worked.
A quick google indicated you may have the same problem, back to buying ink that seems to be more expensive than gold in my case.0 -

I have an ip2600, the ip1900 cartridges look very similar to mine. I have been refilling mine for ages.
There are occasional glitches that occur, if you Google it you will find a work-around.

Should that be:-
"Good people, stop buying inks,"
or
"Good people stop buying inks," ie: Bad people still buy ink ?0
