living with partner who is on min wage and claiming job seekers

Hi I was using my dads place as a postal address while living with my girlfriend (on min wage) . I used his address as we have comunal mail in hall and it was going missing.
I told the job centre about this when I fisrst signed on they said as it was a complicated situation it was probably best thing to do ( however I doubt they will recall this if asked).
A few weeks ago my dad, a man who is 80 , recieved a visit form a man from the dwp asking if there was a lady living at his house ( his house is housing assoc) I was there at the time and my dad let him in based on what he had said. the man began by asking my dad if he was getting everything he was entitled to then asked about this mystery lady ( who niether me or him had heard of) then he stated my address to my father then left.
The next week my girlfriend got a hand delivered letter inviting her to an interview. the man said it wasnt anything to do with her and nothing to worry about, however when she attended the interview she was threatened with a bank check and background check , my girlfriend proceeded with the interview ( not under caution) and said that we were living together and had been for some time.
I was not claiming anything else , just jsa, and put it throught the job centre benefit calculator and it didnt change as result of cohabbiting.
I have an interview next week and would like some advice about the interview, and about the dwp mans performance ( misleading my father and girlfriend) as it says in the dwp charter they should act with honesty and integrity.
sorrry for the long message just wanted to get the facts in! many thanks paul
