Dear all, I need to buy a small laser printer for some work I'm doing for a local community group as my lexmark is at death's door. At first I thought about a reconditioned one but new ones do seem to be coming down in price considerably, however I have no idea how to assess what is best or where to go. I need to be able to print out things like minutes of meetings and spreadsheets of projects and expenditure, not photos or anything, so I would think something standard and unfancy would do. Need to be able to scan and photocopy too. The group will pay toner but I will need to pay for the printer myself. and size will matter, it needs to fit onto my desk in the spare room easily.
I would be very grateful for any advice. Thanks (and apologies if this seems like deja vu, I asked it on the charities/small business thread too)

Thank you, it looks just the thing, someone else has recommended Samsung to me too so it looks like the way to go. It doesn't say anything about photocopying or scanning though - should it? Or do all modern printers do that as a matter of course anyway and it assumes I would know that!!
