I have an 8x6 Gardman polycarb. I wanted polycarb due to having kids around as its much safer than glass. Now i wouldn't have anything else. Its flexible and durable. Never had an issue with the panels or anything else, i suspect that has more to do with bad assembly.0

Yes, putting one together is a concern. Looks as if I will have to do some serious thinking, particularly how far I can stretch the budget.BTW my neighbour has done loads of GH as he is a carpenter by trade and does odd jobs etc as well and he reckons it is a pain putting any GH together and he has had problems with expensive ones and cheapies lol.
If I had money to burn I would have a rhino GH ready assembled lol.
Whatever you decide good luck

I've been having the same thoughts. I've looked at the Norfolk ones a few times but in the pictures it looks as if there is glass / plastic on the roof and nothing around the sides. Is that the case (I can't imagine it being but confused by their pics!)
Hi Ema_o
The roof panels on the Norfolk are twinwall and the sides are like Glass clear plastic panels all panels are screwed into the frame. The solving of a problem lies in finding the solvers.0 -

My Norfolk Polycarb Went together quite easily except for i think we mixed up the front and back or used the wrong pieces and we couldn't and still can't fix the sliding window at the rear but a few strips of gaffa tape Job done Instant window fix. :eek:The solving of a problem lies in finding the solvers.0 -

I recently got a GH from ebay. Can't remember the name but it cost £300and was self assembly. My husband is a reasonable man, calm I would say.I have never heard such language come out of his mouth before.I think he made some of the words up:rotfl:Trust me don't buy a self assembly greenhouse it turns the air blue:D0 -
All in the fun of putting it up and sitting back when finished admiring what you have achieved ..
The norfolk greenhouses are like giant mecanno kits the instructions are a bit vague .. Just take your time and not to rush ...
I just picked this one up on ebay for £150 .. had to shorten it from 10 1/2 ft to 7 1/2 ft basicaly take 1 section out .. i have also change the glass roof to polycarbonate for £50 so in all £200
