Car alarm for Toyota RAV4
Options
Hi,
Someone broke into my car last night and stole my stereo... this is a second time it happened since I got the car.
First time round my alarm was working fine... altough we didnt hear it.
It now doesnt work though and the quote I got to fix it is over £200 (that's from the Toyota dealership)
Does anyone know a garage or a place where they would fix it cheaper of install a new one?
I live in Leytonstone (East London)

There are loads of places you can get an alarm fitted and there are also loads of alarms you can buy and fit yourself, it really depends on how much and how good a job you want, with that if you wnat cheaper insurance.
Car alarms can be found on eBay for £15 upwards brand new, fitting them is pretty easy with an hour or two, you don't need special tools, a little know how and instructions should be okay.
However, if you want one that maybe decreases your insurance cost, you will want to go to an approved garage to fit one that comes to a standard you are willing to pay, the better the alarm the more money it will cost you.0
