Student Bank Accounts

Could anyone tell me which student bank account is the best at the moment?
Are there any bank accounts for students that allow the overdraft to be paid back once the student has graduated?

Hi there,

As a student myself, I can easily say that HBOS's Student Account is by far the best.

When it comes to student accounts - you want the biggest amount of interest free money you can get. Last year it was £1250 in first year and I believe that's actually been increased this year!

Don't go for gimmic's like free 'ipod suffles' or '10 free cd's'. You want the most cash.

Their Internet Banking is great and also being upgraded to make it even better!

You get all the mod con's - Visa Debit Card etc and also the 0% lasts after graduation.

Could anyone tell me when the overdraft would have to be paid? Do I pay it at the end of the month or is it when I graduate?
