Should i pay with cc

Hi

We are going on hols end of july, we have booked and paid for our flights (with cc) and we have booked our apartment with the owners, we paid for the deposit with a cheque, and the balance is due end of this month, they have the facility to pay with credit card, would i have more cover if something goes wrong if i paid for the apartment with my credit card,
would i be able to claim back from the credit card company.

Hope that makes sense, there is a credit card fee, which is fine, but just wondered if it was better to pay with my credit card rather then a cheque, we have £800 to pay.

thanks

paying by cc will help if you are not provided with what you payed for eg. you turn up at the apartment and they will not let you in, you are therefore not being provided with something you bought
It will not cover you if the product is provided but you cannot use it (I assume you are thinking ash)

thanks for the reply, yes i was meaning ash, if flights were cancelled i think we would get full refund or another flight, but apartment wouldnt it still be covered as it would be no fault of our own that we could not get there.

If that is the case there is no real point paying with credit card for the apartment, is that right?

    Thanks again.
