Barclaycard Question

Hi,

Just been accepted for a barclaycard Initial Card, But it did not stste what my limit would be.

My question is can i apply for a better barclaycard that the one i have been accepted for and will it affect the one which i have already just been accepted for?

You can re-apply to another one in about 6 to 8 months time. If they have given you the Barclaycard Initial is probably because of some issues with your credit rating. If you manage well your account then in a few months time they may consider your application for another one or lower your interest rate. No point applying again now as you will get declined

Not strictly true. Barclaycard will not allow you to apply for any of their mainstream Visa products if you have an Initial card already.

There are a couple of cards they will offer alongside these - One Pulse and Breathe.

They will however consider upgrading the Initial to a better deal after a period of time.
