FIrst of all, sorry for being dim, i've just moved out for the first time and i'm a bit baffled by what i have to do.....the people who were living in the house were using utilities warehouse for gas electric and broadband, so i've read the meters, do i ring UW and tell them we're the new occupiers, and give them our meter readings? Sorry i'm sure this is a ridiculous question, i've just never done this before so not sure what to do... :o (and what do i do about the home phone?) Thanks in advance x

    Hi Sara784

It sounds like you have done the most important thing by taking meter readings. You are right that you can phone UW and let them know who you are and the readings so that they can process the information. (0844 815 7777). Alternatively, you can wait until the initial information pack arrives and then follow the instructions they send you. As regards the home phone, that may be with UW as well. If you do ring them they can tell you what services they are currently providing to the house.

Good luck in your new home.

After you have submitted the meter readings check the UW thread and then check you prices as UW can be up to 30% more expensive than any other supplier.

but you can check ur prices at energyhelpline.
