Is it safe to book a holiday to Greece?

I'm planning a holiday for next month, and I've found a really good deal in Greece, at a hotel that looks really nice. However, I'm a bit worried about the economic climate in Greece. Do you think it's a risk to book a holiday there at the minute? Or is there a big risk of the hotel going bankrupt, causing us massive problems? The deal I've found is a package holiday through Thomsons - does this protect us?
