Hi
I'm doing a trade show in a few weeks and need PL insurance does anyone know who may do a decent cheap one.
I'm covered for the business generally and most shows I do normally cover PL but this one doesn't so need to get

i've just joined the market traders association (£70 a year) which includes 5million worth of PL. They seem to be good people to use. I'm just doing some craft fairs with some homemade jewellery as a bit of extra income while studying, and this is the first place to ask for proof that i have it. It's the cheapest place i could find that covered at least £2million (which is what this fair required)

Thanks I was going to join them to cover this, as I do the occassional market as well so would be worth it, but unfortunately while I would be covered if it were a public event they don't if it is a trade show so a bit stuck and need to sort somehting else

In which case, ask your existing insurer to quote too, so you can compare this with any other quotes you get.
Many policies have a minimum fee, which might push up the cost of a new policy. Adding to your existing insurance might prove to be the cheapest option.Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac
