my daughter has been diagnosed with absence seizures (a type of epilepsey)(petite mahl) and i was wondering if there are any benefits i should claim due to this.i have been told lots of stories about people who claim for all sorts of things so i thought this would be a good place to start ...can anyone offer some advice ??
No reliance should be placed on the above.

I can't help but I'm sure anyone who can will be asking first of all how old your daughter is.
I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

What needs does your daughter have which arise from her having epilepsy?0

A diagnosis does not entitle anybody to claim benefits for disability - it depends on the care and mobility needs that they have. For a child, try comparing with somebody of the same age. Does your daughter have any needs over and above her peers?0

her condition causes her to go into statres and she is completely out of it and this can happen lots of times in her average day due to this her school work is suffering because when this happens she misses whats been said there is no warning of this going to happen it just happend randomlyNo reliance should be placed on the above.0

Like others have stated does she have care or mobility needs, can she do things other children do of the same age ?
My son gets Disability he is 12 and has severe autism, he is non verbal still in nappies so for us Thomas does have care needs he needs to be washed bathed and nappy changed, mobility he needs to supervised all the time, he is a danger to himself so if i compare him to his twin sister its really apparent he has care and mobility needs:AAutism isn't the end of the world just a journey to another one:A0
