Well we have a 'new improved' key meter, and so far have had the meter itself replaced twice, and faulty keys replaced three times..lol..
I guess this is why they charge prepay customers over the odds, because the meters are so costly to maintain.Membre Of Teh Misspleing Culb0 -
Hi, I have been having problems with our meter too. We have no debt, yet today when I've done a bit of research and pressed a few buttons, it's taking £5/week off us! We asked for the meter as it'd be easier instead of paying big bills and wasn't forced upon us.
It's only started going mad within the last few weeks, although I'm sure we have been using more than we were with the old style meter!
I tried to call them on Friday and those 'useful' messages are awful aren't they! After being told it'll be a 15 minute wait (and swapping the phone over between myself and my mother several times) I finally gave up holding after 1 hour!
I'd really appreciate it if anyone knows of a quick fix I'd appreciate it... It's getting stupid now, how can this many people have problems with their electric??
I can see why you're frustrated and only hope they can sort you out as I imagine it's not good having all that stress whilst pregnant. Let me know how you get on.
