09012 numbers

any one know of any access numbers so as to reduce the bill of having to call an 09012 number?

p.s theres no way of getting round this one as to find another number, so need some sort of access code !!

Sorry, can't help with a cheaper way of calling (such numbers are supposed to justify their Premium Rate charges by providing value-added services) but you can at least find out how much it would cost by checking the number out in the BT price list for specialised numbers.

Beware though - in the case of 0901 2x numbers, the cost will depend on the 6th digit of the number.

What company is it? - you may find, similar to 0870 numbers, there are alternatives. I've had all 09 numbers blocked by BT (teenage son 'accidentally dialled one of these & cost a small fortune) so I'm stuck if I ever want to vote for Big Brother (BooHoo!!), but I figure that the majority of these numbers are for the company's benefit & not mine, so if they need me to contact them there must be an alternative.
