Cheapest place to get lino? Off-cuts?

Hello
I've started to use the conservatory as a bit of a greenhouse now (well you have to use that useless room it for something).
It is currently carpetted and this isn't ideal (with soil, watering cans, etc).
I was going to lay a cheap laminate like the rest of the house but I'm not sure it is worth it for what I will use it for so I'm going to go for lino...
Oddly, I've never done anything with lino before. Never brought it, transported it, fitted it, anything!
Where is the best place to get it cheap?
I'm not overly fussed about design, any wood/tile look will do as long as it isn't too 'busy'.
Will I be able to ask for an off-cut somewhere?
Where?
I think I'll need just under 2x2meters. Is this off-cut size or too large?
Any tips for fitting? I have a gap under the skirting so was just going to fit, tape and tuck.
Cheers, GreenSheep

have a look on ebay - here's an off cut - .99p + £12 delivery http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NON-SLIP-LINO-SAFETY-VINYL-FLOORING-WOOD-EFFECT-2M-x-2M-/390194677919?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Flooring&hash=item5ad96a489f0

I'd think offcuts were definitely the way to go. Most local independant carpet shops have offcuts, thats how my mum usually gets lino for her place, she couldn't afford it otherwise. You can usually find room sized ones fairly easily, she always seems to!!0

I agree, you'll easily get something that size as an offcut. Or even if you don't get an offcut, it's worth looking in places like carpetright because they usually have some basic vinyls available off the roll that are really very cheap.0

You can even buy it a B&Q but its comes in 3m or 4m widths. Go to any carpet place as most will have offcuts to clear and 2x2m should be cheap.0
