V Festival Tickets

:mad:Recently I was searching for Vfestival tickets on the official sites
as im aware of fakes, a pop up exactly the same as the v festival site appeared offering to put me on a waiting list for returned tickets. It looked exactly the same as main site. i gave them my name address and telephone number, i have just recieved my credit card statement to find £705 had been taken by goodtime entertainments how they they got my details i dont know. luckily i bought it with my credit card but i thought other people would be caught out by this. I have been informed it may have been because i was using a free wi-fi zone at the time and they are not as protected.

I think the OP means that he/she didn't give them credit card details? Go to the police and also report to your credit card co for a chargeback.

V tickets are a nightmare. There are so many scam sites out there claiming to be 'official' that you have to be very careful.

I got mine last year through 'getmein', which is run by Ticketmaster and so has a guarantee.

Any advice given is as an individual, not as a representative of my firm.

I have just done a search against "goodtime entertainment" and found this thread, that I will piggybag onto. My wife bought 2 tickets for T in the Park back in February. Tickets have not arrived and after trying to contact them without any luck have found that "goodtime entertainment" is a scam and we are £180 out of pocket.

Would like to put the word out so others are not scammed by these b**tards!!!
