How can I do it? Any ideas???

Thanks every one for the helpful advice.

I've come up with a strategy that works. I must sleep on every purchase I make other than bill payments, which must be made immediately I receive them, food or petrol etc... Any other spending is considered for at least 24 hours and by then I've usually lost interest. I'm jotting everything down and putting it into a spread sheet and coupled with my budget planner from MSE, I am saving alot, ie. £200-£300 per week, and thats after only 1 week. Now I have to continue and turn this into a habbit or as I'd like to think, a hobby. My savings are already adding up, and my debt free day is moving forward. I can feel it.

That's GREAT!!! Keep up the good work - I read somewhere that if you discipline yourself to do something every day for 3 weeks it becomes a "habit" - enjoy your new found hobby and thoroughly enjoy the benefits and rewards that come with it
