I don't for a minute consider agents anything other than people doing their jobs......unfortunately there's always the small minority that don't do theirs as well as you obviously do. My issue has always been with the company itself (and will continue to be) in that I believe they can run a profitable business without having such sky-high rates....and yes, I do realise there's the issue of short-term loans, by their very nature, needing to be more expensive.

And you're very right when you say I'm lucky enough never to have needed them - let's hope if I ever do that you come a-knocking!:D

I feel that they do offer a service, however the whole market of Sub prime lending could do with a great big overhaul. However when your credit rating is knackered and you need a small loan for a fridge, washer etc... for some people they are the only people who will lend to you and its a lifeline when you are desperate for something.

The interest rate is very high, but when you think its a cash business that is always much more expensive, they have to pay field staff, petrol each week all for the small amount of £ for xxx amount of weeks...

Im certainly not glamourising them, but if desparate needs are there, then sometimes people have to come to desperate solutions.
