You should get the petrol tillspit at self serve till if you spend over £50 as that should apply to all shoppers while the promotion is on, but you don't get any other type of tillspit from self scan, thats why I go to a manned till even if the supervisor tries to encourage/force me to go to the self scan :rotfl:

I have had a couple of £13 off £90 spend - I assumed it's because I do most of my shopping at Costco now and they want me back

I agree with Boa21. My son's spending in Tesco dropped significantly (apart from fuel) and he started getting them on many of his subsequent visits. He has also received some vouchers through the post - a sheet of six to used at weekly intervals - for £5 off when you spend £30. It is clearly a case of them analysing spend patterns and looking at those they think they need to woo back. Good marketing really...........
