income support and ema

I have completed the benefits advisor calculator and also the Entilwdeto calculator to work out if i will recieve income support, both have different results, which is more accurate?

Also can anyone advise re EMA, i believe it is calculated on the previous years income, are there any variances on this, i am now not working and my daughter would not be entitled on last years income.

Thanks all

    Hi,

Not really sure what further information would help. According to the benefits calculator i am not entitled to income support, yet according to the other i am, also in relation to ema, my income last tax year was above the threshold, but is no longer, however they say it is calculated on last years income.

    thanks

I meant more info about your circs as to whether you'd be entitled to IS

    Re EMA - here's a link

I've just been checking through the website and it doesn't seem clear about such a change of circs from last year (from being over the limit to around IS level).

I've never come across this situation as most of my clients are on IS or similar so sorry but I can't tell you. I shouldn't have added my two penn'orth :o
