Just to prove i can compliment as much as i can complain. Last month I brought some new Totes style slippers and tucked up on the sofa. When i got off there were marks, literally hundreds of bright pink circles from the rubber dots on the soles.
I tried to remove the marks from my cream leather to no avail. Called Direct Line as I have accidental damage cover. The staff were fantastic and a Uk call centre, which makes a change. Delegarted specialist cam out within days and said they would have to re upholster it.
To cut a long story short the co. that said they would re upholster spent the next 3 weeks messing us about, kept cancelling app and in the end id had enough.
Husband spoke to direct line and complained and the matter was escalated immediately. Within a couple of days they have agreed to pay out for the "replacement" not the value of the sofa PLUS 50% towards the matching armchair. We simply gave details of two suitable replacements. One from DFS and the other from furniture village and cheque is on the way
THANK YOU directline :T:T:T:T
